Great clock!
Do you have trouble with the thin wood of the gears warping?
How do you over come that problem?
Thanks.

Baptismal Lithophane
Thanks to Aspire and this forum I have been able to create a fairly decent Litho.
It is 8 x 10, after importing the picture I used a 1/16" tapered bit for the finish path to carve the image reversed into .25" White Corian. I V-carved the lettering with 1/2" 90 degree V-bit.

Re: Buzz Light
All I used was aspire V3.
I think you need a good quality picture to start with for best results.
But not really sure, actually that was the first one that I have done.

Re: Buzz Light
I used the same steps to do a Litho... Just created a component from a bitmap ( in this case a jpg file) It was actually very easy. In this case like calgrdnr said I did not reverse it. I did first crop and edit the picture in a regular graphics program to get it the way I wanted. You may need to ex...

Re: Cooler than sliced Bread
Thanks for the Links Elliott. Yeah, you gotta dive in and get started. I have not been at it very long myself. It looks a little intimidating before you get started. But once you start you learn very quickly and it really is not that bad. And I can honestly say that I am enjoying it tremendously. I'...
