Re: How to cut this
A scroll saw if you have one and are good at it. Sometimes the best tool for a job isn't a CNC. It would be a bunch of profile cuts on a CNC. The trick is the tolerance to get the puzzle to fit together nice and tight. Sorry, trial and error is the method on the tolerance. Helpful Hint: 1) Measure t...

Re: Model on Top of Another Model
Sometimes when there are a lot of components you must put them on different levels and add and merge the levels to achieve the desired effect.
Also the position of each component within a level can make a difference depending on the desired effect too.

Re: Machining teflon
I didn't know this, but FYI everyone.
PTFE is the shortened name of the chemical polytetrafluoroethylene, and Teflon is the trade name of the same polymer.

Re: Machining teflon
There are companies out there that sell cutoffs.
The below link is one in Ohio, if they have a local warehouse they usually ship for free.
This site doesn't have teflon, it just an example of companies minimizing their waste streams.

Possibly grouping?
Without the file we can't see that they are exactly the same, please post the file.
So you drew one and copied it?
What version of the software are you using?

Re: Output to CRV
Vectric marketing.
Just like the clipart files you create only work in Aspire, limiting our ability to sell clipart to VCarve personnel.
The way I've gotten around it in the past is do what you already did,
Save it to a crv file
and export the "new" component as an STL for them to import.

Re: Interactive trim issues
The file before you did the trimming is what we need to see. I ask again, are you using Snapping in Aspire? Because everything worked out fine in a CAD when created which more than likely had snapping on really points the finger at you are not using snapping or don't have the proper snapping options...

Re: Save Tab Layout issues
Please upload the file.
What toolpath are you using to see Tab Layout and View Layout?
I did a simple profile with tabs and it seem to work as I expected. I did not see your wording in the Profile Toolpath.

Re: Interactive trim issues
Tried to recreate your issue. Before gap1.jpg after gap2.jpg Mine was off 0.00001" I'm really certain it is an alignment issue with your sheets. That error spread over 96" is way more precise than most CNC routers used by the majority of users on this forum. We really need to see your files. Are you...

Re: Interactive trim issues
Could you post the file in the photo? Off the top of my head without the actual file my guess is: Is the any space between the 48x96 sheets? if there is it will induce the error you are talking about. With snapping on you can make that distance 0. I'm seeing overlapping vectors on your far right cur...
