Re: geometry off in space distorting drawing

... and don't forget that stray stuff could just be previously calculated toolpaths that haven't been recalculated.

I learned here on the forum that recalculating ALL toolpaths could make that go away quickly.

It also could be you need to update your graphics card driver (maybe.) You could test by going to Options and changing to software graphics to eliminate that possibility. (It will immediately be slower at rendering.)

Re: Using the 4th axis as an indexer

... On my bucket list I want to make a brake for my rotary axis that is G-Code driven. I think what you have to do is something like the signals for spindle, air, dust collection. Depends on what you have for a controller. Also, I have created a brake from an old auto air conditioner clutch; low vo...

Re: Not Puff the magic.

Looks great. Is there more detail in the model than the foam will show?

I wonder what wood you will cut that in? Cherry? Walnut?

If you make it small and run about 2” per minute, you can probably compete with Scott!

What kind of wood is that? Some wood is just more brittle when thin.

You didn't mention what bit(s) and the feeds and speeds.

Re: Like button

I think you better tread lightly, because criticizing this ancient forum software will stir up the wasps, and they'll swarm you without mercy.

PS. Its already started.

Re: Chip load calculation discrepancy

Not picking on you, Rcnewcom, but I've seen that formula passed around. It needs to be simple and explanatory. My old chemistry professor used to call it "the old factor label method", and it works to keep things straight, but it isn't always real clear. FEED RATE inches 1 minute FLUTES ------------...

Re: 2D Drawing cant be found fully in 3D window

You are only simulating the toolpaths that you have checked in your toolpath creation area. You didn't supply a photo of the toolpaths. Hi Brothers & Sisters my first test I am absolutely a pre beginner, I did all that I can to get to this point however during stimulation only few parts of my diagra...

Re: V12 for Mac Silicon, please?

Here is another viewpoint for you. A lot of the people on this forum are retired. I am one of them. Let's say I wanted to get into the cnc world and I would like a good product, like Aspire. Oh great, I would have to shell out $2,000 just to get started , then if I wanted to stay current, about $40...

Can the distance between 2 vectors (circles center or square edeges) be adjusted That tool is located in "Transform Objects" and is called "Move Selected Objects". Use different layers to make it easier, but center one over the other. Then choose "Relative". Then use the above tool to move the sele...
