Not familiar with your control software but your machine acts as if it thinks your material is thicker than it really is. I'd check your material thickness settings (critically important if zeroing on spoil board, not important if zeroing on surface).

Can you set Z zero at the bottom of the pocket?

How did color the lettering?

Couldn't you just import the PDF file? Aren't they vectors?

Any advice on chipload numbers for vbits? Does chipload even matter? I carve at about 20 ipm , 14100rpm with a 2 flute 30 degree vbit with a tip diameter of .005. Chipload calculates out to .0007.
