I went to the https://www.vectric.com/support/program-updates area, downloaded and ran the appropriate patch. It worked!

What kind of update are you trying to do? If it's an update from 10 to 10.5 then you need to do a complete new instal of 10.5 you can't use the blue update icon in the top right of the screen

I received the following error when trying to use the update program. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? Windows is up to date. Fresh reboot was done prior to retry. No other applications were opened.

FYI.

I noticed DovetailTool.ini gets overwritten when updating or reinstalling. I added a test tool and when I updated and it was no longer in the tool list.
