Re: Madonna & Child Plaque.

Thanks Tim.... I think Spanish Cedar is in the Mahogany family. There is a company close by that builds wood doors, and they let me pickup cutoffs... They use both the cedar and mahogany in the large doors they make. I've found it cuts better going cross grain, at a higher RPM works best on my table...

"Osage Orange" Project.

For those who attended the AWFS this year, and went by the Vectric booth, might have seen the "Osage Orange" ( hedge ) project. But for those not making the show, you might be interested in seeing this project. This is V-Carve cut and then paint filled using a 'shimmer opaque gel'. The hedge has mul...

Gary....

A lot of what you are finding is the quality of your artwork.

Is it possible for you to upload the original file?

Re: South Caroline user meeting

Hello Jim....

I am interested in attending your planned camp, so please place me on your
"info" list.

I'm just north of 'Hot-lanta', so am about 4 hours away.

I am also open at this time, as to your planned dates.

Thanks for the offer !!

Re: Candle holder, Thank you Khalid

Thanks Grease.... I used "Devcon" 2-Ton Epoxy, which I've used on other corian projects, and it seems to work well.... Couple things I like about it, is it has about a 30 minute working time, plus I found it cleans up with denatured alcohol. The alcohol does not effect the corian.... Here is a web s...

Re: What is everyone making for Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas, All !!

This year the family will be getting either an oak book, or
a maple scroll plaque. The hands on the scroll plaque are
metal coated.
Aspire, was used to do the design work, and the 3D Vector
files, were thanks to Mr. Booth !!
