Re: getting an error message i don't understand
Try opening another session of Aspire (without closing the first Aspire file) Select everything (all components and vectors) in the first session of Aspire and copy it (Cntl-C) Create a new job in the new session of Aspire. (same size and resolution as the first) Then click on the 2d page in the new...

Re: getting an error message i don't understand
Without a screen shot or image, I can't be sure.
But somewhere there is a dialog box or window open.
You might move the Aspire window around to make sure there is not a window behind.

rotax91,
You might want to read the Project vectors on 3d model, as it will give it a natural appearance.

Re: little circles is all it does
hey picket, There isn't a whole lot we can recommend from "my machine just sets at one place and makes little circles." What kind of router? Control Software? a photograph of the "circles" Post your saved file from the software (only if it is not copyrighted or trademarked), not the cut file but the...

Re: Toolpath help/suggestions
David,
I threw the shield and spokes together real quick.
I'll let you create the top/bottom banners and text.
And you could create or find a texture to put in above the bottom banner and shield.
Spokes are 0.1 in height
Shield boarder is 0.256 in height

Re: Downward Compatibility
Hey Bill,
I don't think they do.
But what you can do is export the 2D Vectors as EPS, DXF and AI.
I know that don't give you the toolpath, but it's better than recreating the vectors
Missed you at the User Group meeting.

Re: VCarve Pro 6.5 Import Problem
Hi Eric, After you've created your toolpaths in Cut3D, you also need to save the actual Cut3D file. I think you need to then import the Cut3D file into VCarve Pro and I think your toolpaths will be imported with the file. Hope that makes sense. (I think this is the way it works - it's been a few yea...

Re: question on centering carving
Hello and welcome to the forum Mary, For doing photos in PVC, I think the best way to orient the image is so that your X, Y zero is in the center of your image. You will also need to X,Y,Z zero your V-Bit where the center of the photo will be placed on your material. Hope this helps and please post ...

Re: Edit multiple objects
There is another option, But it's the not the easy button, Edit your first object to the correct size. Click twice on the corrected object, when the bounding box is visible (the corner, center and midpoint handles should appear), once selected, press and hold the Cntl key down and then grab the cent...

Re: Saving 2D view as a jpg
hi John,
In the latest release you can use the print function to print a hard copy.
I also have cutePDF write installed and I can print directly to a pdf file.
Or you can do a screen capture.
Saving it as a bitmap/jpg/png is for a toolpathed preview.
Hope this helps
