Re: "Birdcage" Hollow candlestand

Andy,

I was under the impression that Aspire wouldn't allow you to go deeper than 0,0 (the center of the cylinder). How did you manage to go inches beyond?

Re: What material is recommended for indoor 3d sign.

The foam is messy to work with but cuts fast! Any fuzzies are easily sanded or rubbed away. It also holds very good detail. Here's a sign I just did for a friend's family hunting camp (roughly 18" x 36" x 2"). I usually put a piece of doublestick carpet tape in the middle to keep it from bowing in t...

Re: custom oval cribbage board

Very nice Stan! I like the idea of accessing everything from the top. Most of mine have pockets on the back and it makes it more difficult to get to all the parts! Might have to 'borrow' this design!

Re: Roland EGX-300

I will be interested in what you find out. I have a Roland Modela MDX-20 that I used to drive right out of Aspire but since I moved I haven't been able to make it work. Can't even get communication from my little scanner. I'm pretty sure I have the correct cable and I can get it to cut simple shapes...

Wonderful Michael! I guess I'll have to start saving all those tiny bits from now on. Great way to make full use of every bit of glass! (And to think I've been sweeping the floor and throwing that away...)

OK, Who's out in that area that might be willing to help this newby along a bit! We've all been there so here's your chance to pay it back a bit!

abspapa1,

Where are you located? There may be someone close enough to give you some of that one-on-one Leo was talking about!
