thank you for the tid bit on your gadget. i also will make good use of the Marine Plaque. i have several military logos, plaques all in dxf and vcarve format. actually i have close to 100 dxf's and vcarve files.

how do i setup a dado cut using Vcarve pro? i am cutting out panels and i need to put a dado in them so i can glue up an opposing piece. i also need to do plane pattern to thickness size my stock. of course i am doing this work on my CNC machine.

I built my machine from the book Build Your Own CNC Machine. I found the instructions easy to follow. I cut it all on a 10 inch portable table saw and used a bench top drill press. I am really new to the cnc world, in fact my DIY machine isn't even finished. I haven't even bought VCP yet either, but I would like to share a few DXF files . I'm reading all I can while I am waiting to finish my machine. I hope someone will post pictures of these DXF's once they have been thru VCP...
