Re: Bomber & Growler Totes
Looks great! I'm curious about the assembly. In the photo, the upright panel does not appear to extend below the base panel. How is the base secured to the vertical panel? Rick, The vertical pc. has a tab that fits into a .25" deep Dado on the bottom pc. We thought just gluing wood be sufficient bu...

Re: Paint then Carve
Hi Neal, Just set up a pocket toolpath 0.001" deep and assign it the toolpath color you want. This will work for the toolpath preview. In the 3D Component view you can create a zero depth planar shape and assign it a color or material in the component properties menu. Tim Thanks Tim, I knew there m...

Paint then Carve
This sign was carved from 24" x 74" x 1.25" mahogany. Customer wanted black text and logo so I prepped the wood, painted it black then carved, did some hand touch up then sprayed it with Spar varnish.

Re: Large VCarved-Inlays
Great project! It must be a labor of love... it would be hard to make any money on a project like that! Did the firefighters pay for it or the city? All the Firefighters at this station chipped in. It's turned into a competition between each Station in town to see who can have the nicest dining roo...

Large VCarved-Inlays
Here's 2 logo's I V-Inlayed for a 5'x14'x2" maple and walnut Fire Station Table. The triangle inlay is 24" x 17" the round Union inlay is 20" in dia. Definetly the largest V-Inlay's I've done. Thanks to Paul Zank and Damien Durrant for their PDF on the process. One tip I discovered, when doing large...

Re: Multi Start Spiral Creation
Here's an example of a single start spiral, easily done in CorelDraw. I need it with 4 starts tho. NealNSchlee wrote:Anyone know how to create multi start spiral vectors to machine.
Example size: 24" dia. with a 1" dia. center, 4 starts.
TIA,
