Mike is giving you great advise. I opened up your CRV, ungrouped the vectors and used Fit Curves with a .05" tolerance.

If you find a 3D model you like you can import it into VC pick the view you want and only import the top part of the barrel.

As Adrian said, the problem is on a two sided job it only does one side, you'll need to the cross section on both sides and add the results to get the full depth of the Component.
