I'm utilizing a Mac Desktop with Parallels and a Trackpad. If you want to try this it may work, click on the apple in the upper left corner of the screen, click on system preferences, click on trackpad and options will appear they may assist you in resolving your situation.

Utilizing Aspire 8.51
An entire sentence is highlighted when kerning, when the percentage sign is converted text to curves will any impact occur pertaining to the remainder of the sentence?

Couple of lines straight text nothing else out of the ordinary, no curves, not following a vector
Utilizing text tool only no text within a vector box
