Mike,
Click on the right node at the arc.
Use your arrow key to move it to the right.
SURPRISE !!!!!
You had everyone guessing at Marks Live Q&A,,,including me.
Glad we figured it out.

Mike,
The problem is with the small half round vector and the size of the bit. ~M

NOTE,
Make sure your inner square vectors are cutting on the correct side as you need them to.

Re: Problem with a profile toolpath
Mike,
Select the outer vector and use the " Fit Curves to Vectors" option.
Bezier Curves
Tolerance 0.01
Keep Sharp corners.
Select all vector and recalculate.
Or create a new toolpath.

Thin two sided cutting
Greetings,
Several years ago James Booth showed, at a UGM, his approach to cutting a thin 2 sided model.
It was of a cloth draped over a dish.
Does anyone know where I can get that file?
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Re: Material cutting
John, it was a guess and I used some editing software to delete them from the bottom of the model.
Just took a bit of logical thinking on how the software works.

Re: Material cutting
So any idea on the origin of the stray pixel? Something you did while creating the component? Or was it part of the model you imported? John, I did not make the model but was asked to find out the reason for the issue from a friend. The model has all the looks of a Russian made model. I believe it ...

Re: Material cutting
Just an update.
I found the problem and it was a "stray" pixel or two that were sitting at the depth of the material thickness.
So, the program saw those pixels and added them to the model thickness.
I used a separate program to delete them.
All's good now, thanks for your help.

Re: Material cutting
I added a zero plane and shoved it over the edge and that didn't replicate your problem. I'm stumped. Yes, adding a Zero plane does correct the issue as well as a negative offset ( -0.0001) will correct it. So does changing the ZZero position from the spoilboard to the material surface. In the end,...

Re: Material cutting
I tried the same settings on one of my 3d projects and I didn't get the results that you are getting. I can't really tell from your pic but it looks like you may have an object that extends to the edge on the right side and not on the left. That may be the cause. The model is not close to the edge ...

Re: Material cutting
Couple of questions: does raster 90 degrees exhbit same symptom? offset? on the left the model looks like it has a vertical wall yet on the right it appears to have a zero-thick ege. Is model tilted? Raster 90 degrees does not show this same results. There is on offset . The model is not tilted..

Material cutting
Greetings all, Just a short question that I can't explain. Why does the finish toolpath over cut the material when the settings of "Material Boundary", "Raster" and "Machine Bed" are used? If that would be the normal process wouldn't it also over cut on the left side of the material and not just the...
