What am I doing wrong?

I have attached two files they are identical except the center circle on number2 is offset by 0.0001 of an inch. I am making a pocket between the two circles and as you can see from the tool path in the center of this pocket are hundreds of Z movements. If I offset either circle by even a tenth then...

Joe your configure screen doesn't look anything like mine. (see below)
Your Mach 3 screen doesn't either as far as I can see. I am running Version R3.043.022 of Mach3.

Could you have an old copy of Mach?

If it is a true font and it is on your computer it should already be in cut 2d. If it is on your friends computer have him send it to you and install on your computer in the control panel. The file should have a .ttf extention on it. Go to control panel, fonts, and copy the font from his computer. T...

Thank you very much for the quick reply and solution. I was setting the material from the EDIT drop down when the project started and I thought the material setup on the TOOL PATHS was the same. I see now they both have to be set to get the results you want.

Just started working with Cut 2D and I have a question as to how to setup the Z axis when I send the code to Mach3. What I would like to do is when I have a project I will manually move the tip of my Z axis tool up off the work piece 0.100. I will then call this my home or "0" position for Z. I woul...
