Re: problem with 4th axis toolpath

The additional post processors are supplied by the Stepcraft dealer network as the video description (which Steve posted as well) says. They aren't part of the default vanilla installation.

Re: problem with 4th axis toolpath

You need to use a post processor that is designed for a rotary axis. I'm no expert on it but as far as I know the post processor has to have "wrap" in the name.

Re: problem with 4th axis toolpath

Are you using the correct post processor to work the rotary axis?

Re: Start and Flat depth settings

PFSD and P1SD will be document variables.

Look on the Edit menu Document Variables to see and change the values. You need to recalculate the toolpaths after any changes.

Re: Unable change tool diameter

The name won't change unless you're using a variable as part of the name.

Where are you trying to do these changes? By opening the database directly or from within a toolpath?

Re: RichAuto DSP B57

There is no Rich Auto ATC post processor as far as I am aware. You or the manufacturer would need to create one. Perhaps try asking their support?

Re: Raster Setting

On profile cuts I dont see any adjustment on "left and Right", also I need the bit to go over the entire slab and not only in the edges. I also change the Pocket Raster Option to "Last" and I got no change "still goes back and forth" . I guess I either have no idea or I just need a bit more info. t...

Re: RichAuto DSP B57

"Rich Auto A11 Dsp Arcs(mm) (*.plt)" I would think but you really need to check with your machine supplier to be 100% certain.

Re: Display message when running toolpath

Depends on whether the control software you're using has that ability and then you would generally need to modify the post processor as well.

I do it with my Shopbot.

Re: Fillets

The fillet tool will work on corners that aren't 90 degrees so you can use that. If you are trying and it's not working you may need to adjust the end spans in node edit as it won't work if the span is too short to accommodate replacement with a fillet of the specified size. The span being an arc wo...
