Re: Adding a sheet

David, I also removed the half moon shaped lines in the partition boxes. Most of the other lines in the DXF were not joined with anything. So, I tried to join the items to create closed vectors as best as I could. All the items are grouped. The description is grouped also, so that when the parts are...

Re: Adding a sheet

Here you go Crash5050. I needed to redraw the panels with the 3/4 " grooves. Be SURE to double check the sizes with the original. Every thing is grouped and arranged, ready to be nested. I used a .250 diameter tool with a .250 gap and got it all on 2 sheets. I did NOT relabel the screw strips. VAC T...

Re: Cutting A 5 Degree Taper

Adrian is correct in that you cannot cut a negative taper as shown, However you can flip the part and cut it on the top. Then flip the part over to cut the opposite side. That will create a wedge shape. 5 Deg Taper 1.PNG 5 Deg Taper 2.PNG 5 Deg Taper 3.PNG You could hold the parts in a vise or clamp...

Thank you. I'm not sure I'll use it as an antler mount , but , it definitely can be used as a backer for something else. Thanks again.

Re: trouble with toolpath

Hello Wolfie, I do not have a shark and I do not know what type of controller you have,But, is there a chance your machine is up against a limit switch on your X axis? My controller is Mach3, and sometimes it will continue to move on the DRO's and timer when I get against a limit switch or try to ov...

Re: vcarve pro save toolpaths to Mach3

ATC = Automatic Tool Changer
ARC = arc or partial circle, The program will post with radius rather than i's and j's
wrap = work done in a forth axis

I hope this helps.

Re: Is this possible?

Wolffie, If you have the file where you created the toolpath, you can run the toolpath in Aspire. Then under the dropdown model button, Go all the way to the bottom and Create model from toolpath. I do not know if there is a way to import just a toolpath into a new drawing to create a model. My apol...

Re: Is this possible?

Wolffie, You are in luck. You can run your toolpath. Then under the modeling tab at the top of the page, all the way to the bottom, You can " create model from toolpath." Good luck. I tried one for a test.
