Re: 4 bottle display/sales aid for local chilli dealer

I think you have misread the agreement. I believe it means you cannot buy a model and then sell the actual 3d model file. You should be able to produce anything with that model whether commercial or not and sell the product just not the actual 3d model. Hopefully Vectric can step in and verify this...

Re: King Neptune

Hi Nick, and thanks again. I didn't intend my offer to be poignant but is an opened invitation for anyone that asks. I have attempted a couple of tutorials and don't think they turned out that great. It is always easier to edit someone else's writings, than my own. Here is an example. http://forum.v...

Re: 4 bottle display/sales aid for local chilli dealer

Also if you read the purchasing /licensing agreement closely; you will find that it is not appropriate to sell the carving in mass orders and wholesale. e.g. you can't make 100 carvings on a plate and sell them to merchandisers/distributer. Now this may only apply to Vectric clip art but believe it ...

Hi Nick, Thanks, I have been known to help a few people with some modeling but don't have a a formal lesson plan. The vectric tutorials do provide a great starting point. If there is something you're trying to model I would be glad to help you.

Re: King Neptune

Thanks Michael, I certainly had a great time at the last one I went to, and tried to make it last year but had to cancel. I'm not sure what my schedule will be like this year but I would definitely like to attend. My time management will have to improve before I can commit this year. I'm always avai...

Re: book case

Awesome! I'm looking to do something for my grandson 3 years and granddaughter 2 years and am currently looking at doing a toy chest. I'm just waiting for them to get a little older. One to do something that will be remembered as me doing it and two to match their character. The grandson is leaning ...

Re: King Neptune

Thanks for all the comments. I must say that I don't get a chance to model things for personal use but I was motivated to use the Neptune face for a Lone Sailor model that I was requested to do. I didn't have a quality pic of the face so I decided to model the Neptune face and sub it for the Lone Sa...

King Neptune

A few years ago someone asked someone to model King Neptune. It was a model that I always wanted to do but just never had the time to get it done. I did make a quick and feeble attempt and still have the model but only as personal reference and growth indication. I don't have a project set up for th...

Re: Navy Pin Up

Thanks Guys. Michael, It really helps to have a good starting point/graphic. I can draw pretty good but I really don't have the time to draw a design then get approval and follow that up with modeling. (especially at the prices I charge) Concerning the figure, I have made a lot of observations over ...

Navy Pin Up

I don't get calls to do pin ups very often but this one is done for a retiring Senior Chief. The drawing was provided by a fellow shipmate of his. It is modeled entirely with Aspire. Took about 16 hours to complete to model an 7.5 hours to cut. Measure 21"X25". The frame is constructed with 5/4Cherr...
