Re: Navy "penny" board

Way cool and it's really nice that your son is interested in what your doing. My son not so much but my grandson has been coming to the shop and loves it. I hope to encourage him to take on a few challenges when he get's older. He's only three. Right now his visit consists of playing with my clamp b...

Re: From my clip art library

Chris, Thanks so much. I have been following your work ever since I joined the forum and have been most impressed. Just the shear volume displayed on your sight is a testament to your abilities and popularity. I have sold a few models but prefer to help others with their models. In turn it helps wit...

Re: Double sided tape

This is what I use to adhere my brass plate to my plaques. It is extremely strong and very thin.

Memorial Day! End 22 Carving

To all who have served and those who have not, have a pleasant Memorial Day and please remember those who have given of themselves so we all can be free to c...

Re: Some stuff from UGM Vegas 15

Hi Scott, I really like the concept here and overlaying the eagle on the flag looks great. I think the eagle would look more like the flag if the strips did not go through it. This is how I would approach this. Use the base flag without the strips. Make a copy of the base flag component. Create a ve...

Re: From my clip art library

Why Thanks Martin. I'm not saying these models where easy by any stretch. I purchased aspire in 2010 and have been modeling with it ever since. I do have other software but for good reason I use Aspire. The first thing I Modeled was a Chief Anchor. It took me at least 20 hours everyone that I carved...

Re: From my clip art library

Here are a couple other models I reasonably completed. The Indian Warrior Face was used in both images. The large headdress was completed some time ago so all that needed to be done was the face. The feathers in the smaller headdress was distorted from a feather plucked from the larger one.

This was created form nothing but clip art from my library. I do have to give honorable mention to the dove that ...
