Once you've imported it, just select. You know, when it turns blue or pink. Then go and select your 2D profile tool path and the tool you're going to use. Make sure your cut depth does not go any deeper than the depth of the 3D finishing toolpath. This will not work on the VA3D dished or the faux ca...

Hi Andy. I know that's not a feature in the free Machinist program but it can easily be done once it is imported into VCP4 by running the profile toolpath around the outline of the relief. I do it quite often with an 1/8" EM to clean up the edges. -AD

Got the instrument from my local Woodcraft store here in Houston. I did see a few places online that you might be able to order them from though. -AD

Weather Station

Just finished this up today and it came out real nice. A nice gift for your office desktop or fireplace mantel. Was cut with a 1/4" EM and the champhers were cut with a 1.25 90° v-bit. .5 and .75 v-bit were a little to short for the wide champher on top. Total size is about 12"X5". Hope you like it....

Family Crest (Coat of Arms)

Here is my Wife's Family Crest. The coat of arms can be purchaced from VectorArt3D here:http://www.vectorart3d.com/store/index. ... l&ID=50149. James Booth added the eagle to the shield and it came out awesome. A great gift for anyone that follows their heritage. -AD
