Blending 2 D&M scenes
Hi All,
I would like to blend 2 scenes together, can someone point me to any tutorials that could help me with this.
I am starting to play around with the sculpting tools.... lots to learn, the big problem I see is the different model heights where the two scenes join.
Thanks as always
Ron

Re: Cutting Boards with Inlays
I finally was able, after lots and lots of testing, to get my Zank V-Inlay parameters down pat and have had great success. Here are a few recent cutting boards I've done using Zank. They are all approximately 15" x 11" x 1 1/4". Very nice indeed.... I have found also using a press does make a big d...

Re: Ball Bit
I only open the maze DXF in VCarve to confirm dimensions and such. I directly run the TAP file that the Mazemaker software generates. I've never worried about setting up the tools, but if I did, I would set it up as an End Mill. The main point to remember is that the channel path plunges at the ent...

Ball Bit
I would like to do a maze using MazeMaker from Tailmaker
When adding the ball bit to the Tool Database do I enter it as an EM? or a form tool?
Thanks

Re: Cutting board blood route - alignment issues
My thoughts are that your material is not square to XY.
For a test I would use an oversize piece of material. do a full depth profile cut around the material to square it up, then measure the center point of the material, set X0 Y0 and cut your groove.
