The allowance is only for the rough toolpath to not gouge the shape before the finishing toolpath. Yes, you can set Cut3D to not cut the tabs. But as long as I have to make a whole separate toolpath for the larger tool anyway I could just make a path with a larger silhouette before the finishing pas...

Just a quick idea; try to program a cut out toolpath at say half the total thickness WITH a very large end mill bit (say 10mm) and run/preview it BEFORE the finishing toolpath. You may have/want to change the end mill cut out toolpath diameter to suite your need and from what tool bits you have avai...

Either you need a longer length finishing tool or a different method... if you could post some screen shots , we may be more able to suggest ideas.

Is that a two sides project? You may want to machine only half the thickness at a time...

Out of curiosity, do you intend to distribute an OpenDocument file format (ODS) of your spreadsheet?

It look like it'll be covering about everything!? Keep up the good work.

I'm not very sure where to get the official latest release; I suggest you email Vectric team about this. I usually get an email with a link...

Do you have any toolpath previewer to check out the toolpaths? Maybe you could air cut it first...

John, try the default export settings from Rhino. Most of the ones I've suggested will have some sort of mesh "resolution" to decide on. At worst, you'll get a coarse output. STL being very common, I would start with that. Since I can work on your file (DXF) in Cut 3D then I tend to think it has to ...

John Jones, it would be worth to send those files to Vectric. This might help them troubleshoot the problem. Try another output format from Rhino; *.3DS, *.STL, *.OBJ. DXF can be the problem... I was able to toolpath the model with your file (Left Arched Panel.dxf) up to the point to save toolpaths....
