Deleting Layers

I just received an Cad file that had 20-30 layers in the drawing. Only one of the layers had what I needed. To delete all the layers that are not needed in a time consuming issue currently. Please find a better solution to deleting layers. Thank you.

Re: Tool Choice for a 'road map'

If you are going to cut a line and use a V Bit, you don't need to have it closed. Just use a profile tool path but a V bit.

Re: Tool Choice for a 'road map'

You don't have to have a closed vector to cut a line. Draw a line and create a profile cut and you can cut to the left, right and on the line.

Re: Problem nesting some imported DXF parts.

It is common to receive files from others or ones you have created, if you are not careful in how the drawing piece are created. I have a client that sends me drawing files that have parts that are not closed. You just to work with the clients files or you have to be careful in creating your own.

That is very interesting. Where did you find the file? I would like to look at the website if there is one.

Re: New Format

The look of the forum for me has changed. I did not request to mark all post read but I no longer have red buttons beside old threads. They are blue. Where do I find what each symbol means on the forum?

Thank you.
