Toolpath Summary

I have not used this since doing the latest upgrade. Today I tried it and I get an error message. I am attaching a screenshot. Anyone seen this? Suggestions? Thanks.

Node Editing/Bezier and Smoothing

Would someone please explain the difference in making a node a bezier vs. smoothing the node? When is one more appropriate then the other? I would really appreciate an explanation! Thanks!

Dealt DW621 Router

Anyone have a dxf of the base of a Dewalt DW621 router? It is an unusual design and, I think, difficult to be able to draw it! Any help would be most appreciated!

Re: An anomaly!

Gary - I agree with you but there are times when I want to go from the top. I have been using this file (and others like it) for some time and never experienced this issue. Adrian - You are right in that the software should not be doing what it is doing. If the problem is in the file I posted I cert...

An anomaly!

I am having a problem that I have never seen before. I have attached the file. In essence, if you set 0 to the machine bed to machine the first two toolpaths all works fine. Later I wish to do the inlay from the top of the material and not the machine bed. If I change that setting in the toolpath ta...

V9 Bug (a small one)

In V9, on my Windows 10 computer, if I launch an Aspire file that has a note in it, the splash screen never shuts. It hangs open until I can click on the note and then it finishes loading. On my computer I can just barely see the note screen to be able to shut it. Easy enough fix by turning the spla...

Re: G-codes and V-carve question

Mick Martin has created a free program to mill the spoil board. Assuming that your machine is set up properly use his little program. It works great! Get it at http://mickmartinwoodworking.com/cnc/downloads/.

Re: Our new customer portal V&CO is now live!

I agree with what everyone has said. But, at the same time then, don't publicly announce that it is "imminent" and create user expectations which are not realistic.

Re: Our new customer portal V&CO is now live!

I agree with 4D Thinker. Imminent has a definition. It certainly has not been met. If they are fixing something then so be it but it would be nice if they said as much!

Perpendicular Lines

I am having a senior moment. Can anyone tell me how to draw a perpendicular (90 degree) line from an existing line that is not parallel with the x or y axis? Thanks!
