Thanks Tony.

Please feel free to add it to the gallery.

As far as I'm concerned, it's your excellent products that make it possible to produce projects like this.

First sign using VCP4

Hi, Just finished my first project using VCP4. The two new features that helped were layers and the ability to import a Cut3D file. The sign is made of Cherry and the image is the Mountains & Forest wilderness scene from Vector Art 3D. Overall size is 18" x 24" and the wilderness scene is 11" x 14"....

I too would like to thank Tony and Brian for an excellent product. Version 4 is a pleasure to use and provides me all the tools I need to make the type of projects I do. The layers feature has expecially made life easier for me and I've been busy re-designing old projects by breaking them up into la...

That came out great! The detail and finish is excellent.

Would you please provide more information on the laminated oak you used. Did you glue it up yourself or is it something available in your area?

Thanks,

I tried to post the .crv file for people to use, but it is 9 Mbytes. The system won't take it.

If anyone has an idea, let me know.

Very kind of you to do something like that. It will be priceless to him. Have you given it to him yet?

Very nice! Sure would like to see one or both of them on my mantle someday...

I also would like to know the name of the material and what paint you used for the image and text.

Here are some tips based on my experience. Hopefully they may help someone. I have had my ShopBot for over 4 years and are still using some of the original bits, which have never been professionally sharpened. I have replaced my favorite V bit, the CMT 60 degree Laser Point once, and have broken my ...

Paul,

Excellent job. The ducks really pop out at you. What did you make the cattail border out of?

Paul, It looks great! Soon you'll be addicted like me. I am not sure how a glaze differs from a wood stain. The General Finishes product I use has the consistency of a gel stain (perhaps a bit thinner) and I tried it on bare wood and it does stain. I suspect it sticks to a smooth surface better, giv...
