Re: Chicago Bears Custom Sign for Friend

I was looking for away to ask you a a question about your CRP4896. I did not want to clutter up the forum. I am thinking of getting there CRP2448. I am a hobbyist and think this will do everything I want. I could not find a way to send a private message.

Thank you

Re: Help with Direction

Thank you or the answers. I see there are many ways. I have it working now. A bit slow but working. I have a picture of the very first thing I cut as a test. I only had a 1/4 end mill bit and a 3/8 ball nose. So detail is not to good. I am glad it ran from start to finish with no problems.

Re: Working with BMP files

I have been following the tuts. I have learned a lot. It is still my opinion that some one looking at thing may be able to offer more insight and hints. Its like school. You get books and learning materials but when you interact with a human teacher it is more helpful. Some times they see things you...

Re: Working with BMP files

I will delete the files and wait till I get the full version. I did not want to have someone or myself cut them yet. I was just practicing working with picture files. I think I will be using them a lot. I was looking for some one to look at the choice of cutters and the general why of doing it. And ...

Working with BMP files

I am new. I have not bought VCP yet. I just got the machine working and then buy VCP. I have been using the Demo and running the Tutorials. I have learned a lot about working with picture files. I still can use some advice. I am new to CNC and woodworking. I will say making vectors from files is for...

Re: Hello

I think I will need both programs. I did use machinist to save TP and import into VCP. It works very well if you use Vector models. I have not tried but do not think it will import any other file type. Not everything I want to do is on the Vector site. I will need to work with other 3D formats. Tool...

Hello

I am new to this forum. I also am a new CNC user. My machine is a Home Brew 101.I am looking at and have been using the trial software from Vectric. I am retired and this is and will be a hobby for me. The cost of Aspire is out of my reach. So I am left with other choices. I am looking at Cut3D and ...
