Re: Thread cutting
Hi Martin Certainly was not you. You helped me with the Gypsy Witch. Unfortunately I never went on the water with her and we had to sell her. Someone else betrayed me badly and sadly it took a mental toll. I believe that I am on the mend now. I have just been looking through the posts, where are eve...

Thread cutting
I was reading with interest the email about version 10.
It mensioned that aspire can now do thread cutting for use in fx wood buttons.
does that mean that aspire now supports undercutting?
Cheers
Yes, I am still alive and almost kicking/

Making an Earth globe

I have got a model of it which is 2 halves glued together. The model is loaded into Aspire as 2 components. How do I ...

Russell
You would have made Hans proud any time.
Had the CNC machine been available in his time, I am convinced he would have used it.
He was never afraid of trying something different.
Very very well done

STL Carving
Hiya Haven't been here much lately. I am trying to carve an STL file. Let's say it is a plate. Instead of laying nicely horizontally on the tabletop, this model insists on standing vertically with the zero plane cutting through the middle. Re: Another Error in 9.5 that isn't in 9.0
I believe that a workaround is to first trim away the short circular lines, create a new circle the same size, trim away the extra length of the circular array, delete the new circle and then join the vectors,
You should be fine then.
