Re: MACH3 Shaking and jittery on 3D relief cut

neverhappen, I also have a Maverick gen 2 (August 2020) and have noticed the (mild) shaking when doing a 3d carving. If I reduce the speed to 80 ipm or less the shaking goes away. The shaking seems to be mostly on the left hand side of the gantry. If I am doing a 2d carving then I can go much faster...

Carving horizontal slots in a hexagon created with the Molding toolpath have the wrong depth unless you add the distance to the surface of the original cylinder to the desired depth. Setting “Project Toolpath onto 3D model” caused the slot to be carved to Z0 (center of jo...

Re: Puzzle Joint Generator

I downloaded the Puzzle Joint Generator today, but my version doesn't have any way to set an offset. Do I do it by changing the bit diameter? I am using the Hoop or Disc selection. I tried cutting without an offset and the pieces are too tight.

Text machines backwards on rotary job

The preview comes out correctly (see attached) but when machined it is backwards (flipped 180 degrees).
What am I doing wrong? I am using Aspire 10.509.

Oak Tree

My latest carving on Alder. Love the new clearance tool option in Aspire 10. The tree was from a jpeg found online. It may be copyrighted. I am attaching the crv3d file.

Re: Error codes

The best and fastest way to find an open vector is: 1. Edit-> Select all open vectors (open vectors highlight in red) 2 Select the Offset icon under Offset and Layout ( the exact location of the open vector will be shown by the black square) This will even locate the 3rd open vector. This is not a d...
