Re: Deep V Groove
Those pictures are a spindle collet and a router collet. They are much different. With either one, the bit needs to extend out away from the collet to leave room for the cut. You can buy a miter-fold bit that will do the job. One with a 1/2" shank will produce less flex.

Is there any way to tell the machine to skip the rewind and continue with the next correctly indexed toolpath? ...

Here is one with a zig zag pattern using only one toolpath. I saved it as a .crv file for those that only have V-Carve.

If your spoilboard is 48" by 48" and you are trying to make a grid with 2" squares you only need to make the grid 44" by 44". Unless you are trying to bevel the perimeter of your spoilboard.

Re: Hello CNC Patriots... I could use a hand up on Aspire
If you already have circles of 4" and 8" diameters then an alternate way would be to create a circle with a diameter 6" centered on the material. Drag the center point of the .25" circle to any point on the 6" circle then use the circular array tool with a rotational center of 0,0 and the number of ...

Re: Job Setup Z zero position machine bed
There are a lot of specific used for both but the bottom line is that it really doesn't make much difference as long as it is set the same on the machine and in the software. Cabinet makers use the spoilboard (bottom of the material) most of the time because it only has to be set once and then used ...
