Re: Laser module and Mach 3
I have been using Aspire and Mach3 with the JTech pp (that I modified) and the Pass through BOB from JTech with great success. I had to purchase the BOB as I had trouble getting the PWM signal out of my 10yo Gecko G540. Once I stripped the PWM out of the Mach3 signal to the G540 with the BOB and sen...

Re: Evenly Space Names in a List
Thanks Adrian. I thought that function was there I just could not find it. In fact. I think I asked this same question a few years ago, lol.
That icon should really be moved down to the Align Objects area!

Evenly Space Names in a List
I have a list of 6 names (text) that I want to evenly space. I set the the position of the top text and bottom text and want to space the other four evenly between them vertically. How do I do this without using the grid?

Chipload
Doesn't step over have an affect on chipload? "Chip Load given by tool manufacturers is the distance the material is moved into the cutter at the centerline of the tool as each cutting edge rotates through to cut." But how much of our work is done at the centreline of our cutters? Chip load calculat...

Absolutely awesome work! How did you paint the black on the bottom without getting paint on any of the walls?

3D Printing
Has anybody tried adding/making a 3D printer hot end and extruder to their 3-axis router? I think it would be relatively easy, hardware wise, since we already have the 3 axis device but what about the software. Could Aspire handle a 3D printing job? I know we would have to edit or write a PP but was...

Edge Lit Bases
How are you guys building your edge lit sign bases? I can't seem to make a decent base to hold a 1/4" plexiglass sign and hide/incorporate the led strip. What materials and thicknesses are you using? Especially the RGB strips that have the controller and infrared eye. Pictures would be helpful :D TI...

Adding a Component over top of a Component
I need help adding a component over top of another component. In the attached photo I want to add a solid strip on top of the microphone. The microphone is the golf ball component from the clipart folder. I built a strip component with the 2 rail sweep but when I place it over the microphone I can't...
