If all of the vectors are radially symmetrical it seems like you could cut two identical disks, using Tim's fluting method, and join them face to face to create closed, angled, channels.

What grade/type of aluminum do you use?
Did you mill it with the Fadal or the ShopBot? I assume that either one can do the job.
Clear coating sounds like a good idea. Motorcycle restorers reccomend Yamaha Clear Top Coat #65000-04-00 for alloy cases.

The tile and mold look great but I'm not sure how the tile functions to help the handicapped. I'm envisioning wheelchairs rolling up and down a ramp, but... What material are you using for the tile? It looks dense and fine grained. Would this material be a good candidate for decorative entrance tile...
