Re: Simple ARC trick

I think I understand what you are trying to do.
As a test I drew a rectangle and hovered over top the span and hit A. The arc went up. I changed the direction of the start point and tried the same thing. The arc went down.

Hope this helps

Re: Easy BoxJoint Maker

Jim
I modified the lua file to read "-- require("mobdebug").start()" and it now works fine.

I have been making these joints for some time by drawing them out in Aspire which is time consuming and sometimes frustrating.
This will make things so much easier for me.

Thank you very much!

Re: Easy BoxJoint Maker

Jim

I keep getting a "nil" error when I try to run either Version 1 or 2.
I am sure it is something I am doing wrong but I don't have a clue.

Re: My version of Solunar Box

Do you ever end up with a lot of small pieces left over from a project that are just too good to throw away? Well I have a load of them but none were big enough to make the Solunar box full size. I collected several pieces of poplar that were about the same color and went to work. I resized the proj...

Re: v10 on Windows XP

Yes
Version 10 does run on a XP machine but you will need Service Pack 3 installed.

Found that out last month when I upgraded.

Re: The New Map Thread - Show us where you are in the world

Is anyone updating this?
They must be very busy as I made my request almost a month ago and not yet on the map.
Maybe soon

Re: Spiral Hand Clock

Ray I love unique clocks and this is a first for me. Very cool clock, and well done! Are there plans available for similar designs? I just drew this from a picture I saw and kept changing it until everything worked out like it should. Since this is just a vector drawing with no 3d model it should be...

Spiral Hand Clock

I finished this spiral hand clock this afternoon and thought I would post it here.
I saw a photo of a similar design on the web somewhere.

Re: Question about component

Thank you all for your quick and accurate responses.
I added a zero plane and moved it to the bottom of the list and that fixed it up.
If I have a two sided project should I add a zero plane to both sides or only on the top?

Question about component

I have attached a file for reference. What is this.crv3d When the model height is 1" why can't I cut that 1" deep into a 1" thick board. The model properties says it is 1" high but when I get to the material Setup screen on the tool path side it says the model is 0.9415" high with a gap below the mo...
