Re: CNC router
OK! The price of a vision takes it out of the running. I just received some information about the Stinger 1 that I really like. That is the location and use of a rotary lath option on a Camaster. Monday I will receive some quotes and I will go from there. There are things I like about all 3 machines...

Re: CNC router
I think I have narrowed things to 4 choices. They have been metioned on this forum. Roc Tech, Salescnc, Camaster Stinger 1 and Vision. Does anyone have a opinion of the Vision cnc? http://www.visionengravers.com/lp_bing/router_blp.asp?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=BingRouter&utm_term=c...

Re: CNC router
Thanks for all the input. 99% of my projects are cutting wood plaques and trophies. The router head on my shark just keeps getting weaker and can not cut repeat parts and be accurate. This causes many wood parts to be fire wood. I wood rather buy a machine designed for strength rather than rebuild t...

CNC router
I am looking for a better CNC router than the Shark Pro Plus. I am looking for a machine that is more solid and the router head dose not flex so much. I would like a machine with 24" X 30" or 36" table. Looking for some suggestions from this forum.
Thanks.
Dave

Re: 2 rail sweep
The video on the Vectric.com shows using the fill vector with connect nodes. Today I was making the same design so I could post a picture because I didn't save it last night.and it worked just like it is supposed to. I performed all the same functions and it worked. The center was flat and level wit...

2 rail sweep
I have been using the 2 rail sweep a few times noe and for the most part it does what I want. I followed the tutorial step by step and can not get the fill vector to fill a vector. I made two circles and a angle cross section. I watched the tutorial a number of times and followed the proceedure step...

Re: Pain in the butt
Ok all is good again, I am thinking the new postprocesser didn't load the first time I tried. After deleting the pp in aspire I could see if the new loaded or not.

Re: Pain in the butt
So after all was working well with aspire I decide I would like a second computer so I could leave one in the shop to run my cnc and one in the office to design on then transfer data to shop for carving. On the same day I bought my new computer my dvd came from aspire so I used the dvd to load every...

Don't understand

Re: Pain in the butt
I sent crv3d files and tap files to support@vectric.com I have removed aspire and all 30 carvings I made in aspire trial along with tool data base and tool paths. I have started rebuilding them in license copy of aspire. So far this seems to be working as I have been able to cut one of the new carvi...

Re: Pain in the butt
The part I am not understanding is all toolpaths work perfect in vcarve pro and cut 3d. So what id different in aspire? I thought aspire would have the same tool settings and toolpaths. Now with aspire nothing seams to be compatible.
