I was really only looking for suggestions... there are some smart people on here that a much more savvy than me when it comes to squeezing features in VCP.

This is a problem that affects me too.

I am creating tool paths for routing foam case linings. I do not want to use pocket as the run time would be too long and the profile cut (inside) works perfectly.

All most situations would need is a toggle to invert the waste/work area.

I noticed a similar problem and tried using compressed air as a coolant.

Chips went all over the place but at least they were cool and didn't stick to anything.

Current task in hand due to broken cutter :oops: is replace the cutter in eight tool paths and edit the work accordingly. Global replace of tool from tool database would be nice: 1. Multiple select (highlight) tool paths 2. Select replace tools 3. Dialogue Box: "Are you sure?" 4. Select current tool...

When just stepping out of the norm to do someone a favour remember to restart your own work from scratch.

Did a front panel for a friend's hi-fi today and then put my vacuum table back-on to restart work... Sparks from my lovely aluminium vacuum table as the bit dived-in!

Scott, thanks for the suggestion. I use offline files which I get free of charge from my Windows SBS system which does the same thing locally on my network when I logon/logoff, except it gets its knickers twisted with some files (EXE and database files). I need to try this by disconnecting my laptop...
