Re: Golfer is progressing
A trophy worthy of the designation "trophy." REAL nice job, and a lot of thought into the layout.

Re: La Femme Rocketeer
Hey Snow, how would you describe styrospray? Does it build up quick or thick layers? How would you rate it's durability? I'm doing prototypes in discarded MDF, and I'm looking for a quick build up that can be smoothed and look photo-worthy when done, and I don't want to spend more time that I absolu...

Hot Tip for Guitar Makers
Consider using Inlace for your fretboard work. I got mine at Turtlefeathers.com. Lots of options, too. All you have to do is cut pockets on the fretboard, mix and pour, file and sand after curing. I did mine as a gamble on a prototype, and four years of Northern Michigan weather extremes and humidit...

Re: La Femme Rocketeer
Awesome stuff! Don't ya hate it when you're inspired by a concept, and you think.... "hmmmm I wonder if Cut 3-D could work?" and then another season has vanished?

Re: Butterfly-Girl Concept guitar
Here's a 5 string bass body that I cut using Cut 3-D. It's from an orginal solid piece of butcher block island top I re-purposed. It's all together now, and quite stage-worthy, too. Fun to play.

Re: Butterfly-Girl Concept guitar
Crap... I didn't even think about the strap! I'm still trying to figure out where to put the input-jack that adds to the overall aesthetics of the piece without crossing the fine line into the obscene!
Back to the 3-D drawing board!

Butterfly-Girl Concept guitar
Haven't been here in a while! Here's a concept guitar I just got done cutting tonight. The neck is a factory job this time, I hate dressing frets!!! It's made from 0.71" MDF leftovers from a cabinet manufacturer. All my sizes check out. Time to "Glue 'er & Screw 'er!" Love the slicing feature of Cut...
