Re: Error report: Windows 11 task bar hiding toolpath buttons

Have you tried that in Windows 11, Steve? I'm unable to change the taskbar height since the change from 10.

Error report: Windows 11 task bar hiding toolpath buttons

The height of the Windows 11 task bar has changed, and it is concealing the buttons at the bottom of the toolpath dialog. I can't find a way to scroll the dialog pane.

Re: Planet-cnc

Use it, love it.

Parallel ports are DEAD, products like this are the answer.

I tried KFLop - it wasn't for me - but this product installed on an old notebook computer and went straight to work.

A lot of "guests" may be low volume posters like me, who read a lot but can rarely be bothered to log in :)

4DThinker, that's what I'd forgotten. It was just coincidence that my material size and window size led to 3mm dot spacing.

Thank you :)

Change grid dot spacing?

Getting V7 has given me a burst of drawing enthusiasm, but one thing bugging me is the spacing of the grid dots in the drawing window. I'm drawing in millimeters, with a 1mm grid, but the light grey dots don't seem to line up to any common multiple of the grid units. For example, the drawing on whic...

Re: Vectric Lathe?

Hi Kaartman,

Do you think wrapped axes are a suitable replacement for a lathe?

My main reason for thinking about a lathe is to make model wheels. Curious to see if people have done this using a 4th axis and Vectric software.

Vectric Lathe?

Sorry for posting this in the VCarve forum, I couldn't find anywhere more suitable.

I'm thinking about a CNC lathe. I use VCarve for my routers, but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for lathes.

New product idea?

6.5 Arcs - needs angle

At the risk of appearing ungrateful, I think the new ARC tool is only half done. I'm not sure if my use of arcs is exceptional, but I need the end of an arc to finish on angles. For example, I want an arc that covers 45degrees. This is very hard to achieve when the arc is defined by start and end po...

Re: New dado (housing joint) gadget

May I ask how you figured out the API?

I can see what you've done using luadec, but how did you figure out the interface to VCarve/Aspire?

Is there a similar upgrade coming for VCarve Pro? I'd love to get my hands on those arc tools for a while.
