Sorry for the late reply this is a company I use in the UK you should be able to find similar where you are.
The brazed diamond and brazed carbide are not as good to use the PCD gives a nice clean finish.

Hi
If using granite you will want to use flood coolant and a better type of cutter look for PCD (Poly Crystalline Diamond) then you should not have any problems so long as your machine is well made.

I too use Dropbox to hold the code, I am sending it to a machine 50 miles away operative loads stone onto bed shows machine where code is presses start and walks away, I can view it while cutting via camera any problems I can contact yard. "I do believe that software, aimed for the profession market, should consider the users professionals and give us options to override certain settings. Like a checkbox to use vectored feedrate for ramp. Or at least a setting on the advance tab under ramp to specify a feed rate. This should take any ...

Just out of interest Phill what machine are you running? Hybrid rebuilt doesn't give to much away :lol: :lol: :lol: I use an airline to keep the chips clear of the cutting area as well with both plastics & metals, with acrylic it helps stop recutting of chips as well as helping to cool the bit. :lo...
