Re: Text machines backwards on rotary job
In Mach3 Go to "Config" "ports and pins" "motor outputs" click to put a green check mark in A "Dir Low Active" click accept click ok you should find your A axis if working in reverse of what it was.
Leave all other axis as you find them if working correctly.

Re: Overcutting on a rope model
" I created the outline for the inside pocket with the outline tool in the modeling tab. The outline is jagged but that doesn't have anything to do with the model carving. I think the pixelated model is the problem." That could be your problem so don't use the model outline tool, make model 2X large...

Re: Overcutting on a rope model
Sorry I forgot I to say I made the rope up with individual sections for some crests then saved it as an STL file to use again so yes it could be smoother to use.
Could you not add smoothing to yours? what I do is make the project larger than I need smooth then resize.

Re: Acrylic edge finishing - Silvo
We use PCD cutters for cutting stone they chip very quickly and you can't sharpen them yourselves they have to be sent away for re-lapping. Sometimes I have used a ground and polished lathe tool (parting off tool) held in a wooden handle to scrape the edges of Acrylic then after a quick wipe down wi...

Re: Restore Mach 3 Post Processor after Aspire software upgrade
In Aspire on your 1st computer go into File, Application Date folder, Post P, 05-wrapped,Mach, select all 4 PP files or any 1 copy, go into same folders on 2nd computer and paste, you then should be able to use selection from save toolpath.

Re: Post processor for Rotary
Hi, The PP you need is one of the Mach2/3-wrapX2A ATC(inch)(*txt) or you might need to look for the one wrapY2A depending on how your 4th axis is oriented to, to find them when you have made a toolpath and you want to save it to use there is a drop down box. toolpaths.JPG Make sure if your running W...
