Plasma Post Processor
I just recently purchased a Crossfire Pro plasma table and the company promotes the use of other software with a post Processor for their control software, but I actually would prefer to utilize Aspire for my handling of dxf/svg files etc, So I am in search of, a post processor that would be able to...

Previewing Toolpaths
In Aspire, When in Previewing Toolpaths, Is there any place where a background picture can be added behind model being looked at that is part of the save preview image? It would be great to say have a business logo in there when saving and sending a rendering to someone.

Re: rotating an imported stl
Have the most recent version of Aspire. Have tried to use the sliders as others have pointed out, but just can't seem to get it to lay flat. Was a step file that was loaded into other software then exported as a .stl.
Edit: Persistence pays off. finally got it

rotating an imported stl
I'm trying to import this stl, but it keeps coming at this wierd angle. No matter what I try, can't seem to get it rotated / oriented correctly so that it lays flat so what do I need to do to get it to lay flat?

Tabs
Just upgraded to the current version of Aspire and have a question about Tabs. When I am setting up my profile toolpath, I have selected to Add Tabs and then click on Calculate, but they are NOT showing up when previewing the toolpath like they did before. Are they not getting added or a software gl...

Dragknife Gadget help please
Hey all. I have the latest version of Aspire setup. Have purchased a Roland Type dragknife, but have yet to get anything beyond an Error Creating Toolpath when using the dragknife gadget. So I have setup a 12 x 12 square that measures .004 (thickness of my vinyl). On here, I have put a simple 8" let...

Re: Tool sequence not correct
Update:
Solved my issue. ended up modifying the Header of the Post Processor to read "M6 T[T]" instead of just "T [T]" Apparently Carbide Motion cannot read just for a T command and will only recognize the line if it has an M6 as part of it.

Tool sequence not correct
Ok experts. need some problem solving help with this one. I saved a gcode that uses 3 tools for the carve and have then numbered as #301, #303, and #201 in that order. I looked at the .gcode with notepad ++ and see this: Line 1 T301 Line 50028 M6 T303 Line 484591 M6 T201 Those 3 lines are as they sh...

Pass-Thru option
Have spent quite an amount of time manipulating / editing an image using my favorite image editing software and using the associated plug-ins etc. The laser module needs to have a pass-thru setting available. I do not need any further dithering, rastering etc beyond what I already have in the edited...

Re: Aztec Calendar
If you have Aspire why would you need that program? It's so easy to just make a dome and project the v-carve toolpaths onto it. While I do have Aspire and can easily do this, I have a friend that does not have Aspire and it is a bit out of his budget at the moment Was looking for this doming progra...

Re: Aztec Calendar
Thank you for all the replies but I already have the files for the calendars themselves. What I'm looking for is a stand alone program that was out there where you would load in the gcode into and it would spit out a modified code that had just a slight dome on it.. Just can't recall where I origina...

Aztec Calendar
Hello Guys and Gals, I recall reading several years ago during a major Aztec Calendar push, that one of the members of this site at the time had posted a file that would modify the .dxf to output a calendar that was domed. I have done a search through the forums here and cannot find any ref to it an...

Shapeoko Post Processors
Shapeoko has recently introduced a bit setter that will re-zero Z after each tool change, but the shapeoko PP's do not allow for toolchanges to be in the same saved file. Looking for a PP that will work with GRBL on the shapeoko and allow for multiple tools in the same file or a way to edit the curr...
