I just installed 10.022 update for Aspire and am still getting the error message about not finding the post_base file Does that mean one would need to uninstall Aspire and start all over again?
Got it working

Re: Aztec Calendar

If you have Aspire why would you need that program? It's so easy to just make a dome and project the v-carve toolpaths onto it. While I do have Aspire and can easily do this, I have a friend that does not have Aspire and it is a bit out of his budget at the moment Was looking for this doming progra...

Re: Aztec Calendar

Thank you for all the replies but I already have the files for the calendars themselves. What I'm looking for is a stand alone program that was out there where you would load in the gcode into and it would spit out a modified code that had just a slight dome on it.. Just can't recall where I origina...

Aztec Calendar

Hello Guys and Gals, I recall reading several years ago during a major Aztec Calendar push, that one of the members of this site at the time had posted a file that would modify the .dxf to output a calendar that was domed. I have done a search through the forums here and cannot find any ref to it an...

Shapeoko Post Processors

Shapeoko has recently introduced a bit setter that will re-zero Z after each tool change, but the shapeoko PP's do not allow for toolchanges to be in the same saved file. Looking for a PP that will work with GRBL on the shapeoko and allow for multiple tools in the same file or a way to edit the curr...

Box Creator gadget

I have been attempting to create a simple 4 sided box without a lid that is 5" square in 1/2" ply. Using a .125 endmill yet each time I have cut one out not a single one of the box joints will fit as pins are all being cut over-sized and 100% of them needs to be trimmed down on my bandsaw. Qute a bi...

3D Model Club

Have been away from the CNC world for a bit, but now getting back into it...

Re: CMLEADERSTYLE ?

I didn't create the .dxf files..they are from someone else and just a basic line drawing really..no associated tool paths or any cut depths. Just says CMLEADERSTYLE error no other codes listed along with it. They seem to load ok so guess won't worry about it then.

CMLEADERSTYLE ?

When opening up a .dxf file I have, I get a warning box that appears. it Reads:

Cannot set CMLEADERSTYLE to that value.

Do you want to continue processing the file?

I click on yes and the drawing seems to appear just fine, so what exactly is this referring to? couldn't find any reference to it.

Re: can't figure this out.

unfortunately I am away from home and will be for a while longer so can't post any files / pics, but to sum it up, it is a simple rectangular picture that is being placed on a straight piece of PVC pipe that has no contours, so the left and right sides should be 90 degrees from the top and bottom, n...
