This is specified in the Tool database with a Side Angle (A) = 15 degrees

Re: Trying new bits
Hi Scott,
With a 30 degree included angle Engraving tool, shouldn’t the Tool database be specified with a Side Angle = 15 degrees

Re: This is odd: "...tools produced empty toolpaths."
Time is money, after all! This behaviour is by design Imagine taking the time to setup a New Toolpath with all the required parameters - multiple tools, speeds & feeds, leads, ramps etc. But accidentally having an inappropriate vector selected. Then clicking Calculate, seeing the Error message and ...

He was a busy guy, always working on new projects and trying to get the most out of the software and his CNC machine. But never too busy to help othe...

Not sure if this is applicable in CS5.
In CS4 use File > Save As > AI
Check the option - Create PDF Compatible File - and this should help

Re: Roughing Question
Hi Michael,
There's an option to stop the 3D view from automatically opening
Edit > Options > Auto Open 3D View = No
Also a keyboard shortcut,
Holding Ctrl when clicking Calculate = Keeps the Toolpath Form + 2D view open

Hi Ron,
Try using - Use Origin Offset - on the Material Setup form
Entering negative X & Y values will move the light grey cross-hair in the 2D view (represents X0 Y0 position)
Hope this might work

Hello George,
I would suggest emailing - support@vectric.com + include your registered license details - and Vectric can help you.
