Re: Tool-pathing question

Thank you! Works like a charm. I figured it was something simple but there are so many variables to try why should I try to reinvent the wheel when someone else has figured it all out? I really appreciate your help! That's what I like about the forum - I don't know what it would be like if each of u...

Tool-pathing question

I think I read this forum almost every day - and especially look at the gallery to see what people are doing with Aspire. Its a great supplemental program to the CNC in our cabinet shop, and I use it quite often. I have a question that I've not found an answer to (maybe there isn't one) - but instea...

Re: Missed User in Email Notice?

Actually I have sent that to them as well. I'm sure we'll get there; its just a little hard to practice patience when you see all the folks enjoying ice-cream and you're stuck with beans! :D  :D

Re: Missed User in Email Notice?

I have had Aspire for a couple of years and use it often. I, too, did not receive the e-mail for the update, and I've been watching very carefully! 'cause I've been waiting for it! I e-mailed support on Friday, but as of now, haven't heard from them. I do know they've been busy - - - - - Steve Oak T...

Re: 100,000 Posts!

While I'm a relatively new user, 7 months and counting, this is a forum I read at least once a day. Very seldom miss checking it to see what bit of new knowledge I can acquire, from those of you who have been using it for a long time and don't mind sharing. Hopefully some day I'll be able to return ...

Re: Looking for a scene

I've been impressed with the training videos, and have watched most of them. They are invaluable; if a guy had to go it alone learning - it would take many times longer. But I've learned off of this forum as well. I started out with V-Carve Pro and just recently upgraded to Aspire. I think the softw...

Re: Looking for a scene

I do have the design and carve disks; thanks for the information and encouragement. I've done a little carving, but you know how it is - I'm so busy trying to earn a living that I hardly have any time to give to the fun stuff.........

Re: Looking for a scene

Thanks to both of you for the replies. I'm not sure which direction this project will take. From what I understand my customer wants the design from the 3D model club lacks background detail - but I wonder if it could be combined with a background model? I'm still new at this and learning -

Looking for a scene

Hi everyone! I have a project for a knife display case for a retail store that needs a scene carving. What the customer would like is a scene of a bear standing in a river, trying to catch the jumping fish. My memory tries to tell me that I've seen a scene, that you can purchase, like this - but I c...
