Jurrasic chicken coop
I have Aspire as my main cnc cutting program, but I did this with just 2-D cutting. I had my son draw a cartoon dinosaur image, then I traced it and built the other interlocking parts in in a CAD program and cut it out. This was made for a special little guy who wanted a dinosaur chicken coop.

Lion king masks
Made these masks for a local junior high school play. I got some photos off the internet for the masks. Then did some basic modeling in Aspire. Then made some 3" thick blue foam blocks and cut out the masks. At that point some other people put on a couple of layers of paper mache onto the blue foam ...

Re: Stacked text wedding plaque
That blue pine is beautiful - as is the carving! The uppermost layer of lettering appears to be rounded over. Is that an optical illusion or can you share how you did that? Thanks! Mike You noticed that rounding. Good eyes. Since I used a 60 degree bit that gave a sharp corner I wanted to soften th...

Stacked text wedding plaque
I put the training I received in Las Vegas to good use. I really liked the stacked text training. I could see a new possible market for me. This particular job is a western style wedding plaque. which is 10" tall by 24" wide was done with some blue pine. And I added some real barb wire to give it we...

Re: Casket evolution
Disclaimer: I am not criticizing your work and understand how nice it is for you to get paid for your work. However, I will never understand why people want to spend an arm and a leg on something that the person it is given to will never see and is just going to be put into the ground. Likewise, yo...

Elk themed casket
This is a custom job for a elk hunter. I worked with the family of the deceased to come up with this design. They wanted a elk carved on the lid and stained so as to highlight the elk carving. I had a elk model that I had purchased from Vectric a few years ago. So it was a simple matter of sizing th...

Paradise Box
I made a few boxes, (with a few changes) from Micheal Tyler's Vectric plans. The one with the v carving mermaid scene is for my granddaughter's birthday. And the other one with the 3-D carving on top was a quick project for a young women's auction.

Marble run
I have Aspire for my cnc cutting, but I did some cutting strategies by just using the fluting setup instead of using 3-D profiling. So I don't know if this would be more applicable here or the Aspire gallery. Only one part was cut 3-D everything else was 2-D I needed to cut some 90 degree u-turns th...

Re: Fish bird house (Jowls)
That's nice, and I like how it looks like ceramic. -David The wood I used was glued together western ceder. After finishing on the CNC I took a 120 grit flap sander and sanded into the wood to get the wood rings to show out better. I then put a primer coat on the wood then added layers of white, bl...

Fish bird house (Jowls)
I worked in this bird(or is it a Fisrd) house project for my wife among my other wood working jobs. I was a bit technical with getting the parts to align correctly, but everything came together nice. I drew up a small fat fish outline using my 2-D cad program, I then moved it over to Aspire and used...

Wooden frame bike
I wanted to post this project that I have been working on and off during the summer. It is finally done. Originally it was a sort of challenge to build a all wooden bike that was from this website. http://www.splinterbike.co.uk/, but I wanted to ride it on the road so a all wood bike was out of the ...

I posted this file in another part of the Vectric forum, but I had done a post here earlier on Faux Painting, and I have done a larger project using the same painting steps.
