Stereo face plate
Here is a picture of the back of my Tiki bar with my stereo mounted through a piece of tulip wood, 14" X 6" X7/8" thick. It is mounted under the bar top support, and has 2 different tiki's carved at each side.

Art, look up "horse farm sign", he says they have another hdu , and they call it Duna Corafoam.

Hi James Just checking back to see if you found that Tiki guy yet, the one with the torch in his hand. Did you carve it in 2.5D? And did you make the art yourself or buy it somewhere? I have been looking for something like that in the evenings after dinner time with no luck yet.

very nice seat bases. looks like you did the cutting out from both sides, besides the date and signing on the bottom. I was referring to the datos at the cut outs (for legs). great job

Mick, yes it is the same material, sometimes the cutting boards have a texture on it. I used a smooth type from http://www.interstateplastics.com I try to find their biggest cut-offs, and pay for it by the pound. That trip was $2.50 per pound.

Hi Mick, The carving was .125" deep flat depth with a 90 deg. v bit, out of 1/4" thick material.

James, that tiki dude is my style of tiki. I have a tiki bar in my back yard and I am always looking for something to trick it out with. Are you willing to post where I can get one of those at?
