Re: New Computer - no LPT port

Hi Jim, I use a laptop and use a UC100 connector and have had no problems at all. My controller software is mach 3 and again have had no issues with the Mach 3 software picking up the fact that I was using the UC100 via a usb port. It was very easy to set up and I have been using it for some conside...

Re: Copying model plans (boat) to use in VCarve pro

Hi, I have had success with PDF files using the method Angie describes but I also needed the pdf file to contain data as I did not want to have to re-create all of the lines etc and I used the trial version of 'any pdf to dwg converter'. Re: First posting of project

You are very talented to have produced something as high quality as that.

When you filled the text with epoxy how did you keep the resin from overflowing and if it flows over how easy is it to sand or remove without damaging the rest of the inlay.

Re: Support

I can only comment on my experience with Vectric in that on Tuesday I sent a support query via their web form and received a comprehensive response together with a patch file within 20 minutes of my mail. Reviews of the forum postings tend to show that Vectric do make every effort to respond to the ...

Paradise Box dimension query

Hi, I am attempting to cut my first Paradise Box Project, but am becoming confused by the material dimensions needed for it. The project PDF states that I will need a board with the following dimensions: TOP: 0.75 " x 11.2 " x 14 ", however when I check the material sizes in the .crv file it gives d...

Re: Some lithos ive made so far

I think the issue Cdat has raised is for those forum members who may be looking at the site during their work lunch break etc. Many employers have monitoring software and anything nude can be trapped and the employee subject to the third degree irrespective of the mildness of the content. Could you ...
