Re: CNC Cut File for 3D Unicorn ASAP Please
FYI, VCarve can handle this job if it is just a matter of slicing. I'm curious why you are looking for others to generate toolpaths rather than learning to do it yourself. Are you under a time constraint? Have you done projects like this before, or are you new to CNC? How will you hold the material ...

Do I have a bug, Probably not dio I need a reboot ? That's not a bad idea. However, we really need to see your file to help you out. Can you post the CRV3D or CRV file? That will eliminate a lot of guessing. To upload a file/photo: Click on the Upload attachment button below the message area Click ...

Re: I can use a hand up on an obstacle
One approach:
In node editing change any arcs to beziers. Change any points to smooth points. Drag the handles of the beziers as needed.

Re: Model import
The rod is not on the import model if I look at it in fusion, how does one prevent the Aspire from adding it? The rod is the centerline that Vectric displays to remind you that the model must cover the centerline, and that you cannot machine past the centerline. The space between the legs is proble...

Re: Screen visibly
In the design view, or the toolpath preview?Big pizels when you get close.
If it is in the design view what are the dimensions of the project, and how close are you zooming in?
If it is in the toolpath preview try Toolpaths/Preview Simulation Quality/Maximum

Re: Boss Routers Single Phase w/ 8 ATC
but that does not seem to be the case Can you give us more detail? What is or is not happening? Is the control software throwing an error? Does it carve OK with just a single tool? Does it just have problems during the tool change operation? Have your tried the Mach2_ATC (inch or mm) post processors?

Re: Using the 4th axis as an indexer
Based on input from Milo Scott I think I will use TOOLPATH_NOTES rather than TOOL_NOTES. TOOLPATH_NOTES are entered on the Toolpaths Summary (estimated times) form. Toolpaths_notes.png It is much faster to check work on this form before saving the G code, and it allows the tool notes to remain the s...

Using the 4th axis as an indexer
I've been experimenting with using the 4th axis as an indexer to hold the material and do a single-sided job, and then rotate before carving on the next face. I did this all in Vcarve. This is done by setting up a single-sided job and using the Notes section of the tool to execute a set of commands ...

Because of the direction of the movement through the material compared to the direction the bit is spinning.why is this considered a conventional cut?
