Re: is there a way to control the plunge location in a pocket path?

When I want to use a plunge cut, but need to use a bit not intended for plunging, I ramp the plunge cut. Sometimes as much as 2-4 inches depending upon the the bit.
Or, I could be misunderstanding your question.

Re: The 2023 UGM is now LIVE 🎉

Thank you Vectric, and everyone needed to run this on-line Users Group Meeting. Lots of information to leisurely learn, and keep me busy for a long time. I enjoyed seeing all the different ways to solve challenges.

Re: Inlay work in progress Lazy Susan

Ron
That's an incredible job of re-registration.
My only regret is that I'm having difficulty following how you did this. I'm always interested in learning methods to fix mishaps.
It's the rotation part that has me stumped.
I'll keep on studying what you have done and try to figure it out.

Re: Force direction of t-bones in Dogbone Gadget.

Marcel,
When I need to force the direction of the dogbone, I zoom in real close to the intersection and click on the side I want. Be sure to remove the existing dogbone first by clicking on it.

Re: Dual Zero Planes on a double sided job?

I have never seen a vectric video that required dual zero planes. There is a guy in the Milwaukee CNC user's group who cut a 3 or 4 foot similar gear on a Shark Piranha and he didn't use dual zero planes. For those of you who don't know it is a 12"x18" bed machine. I know he didn't because I'm the ...
