There is also the "Corners" option if you use a Profile cut with a sharp V-bit

The 3D model doesn't need a vector boundary. Just load it into the job and start cutting. If it is .5" deep, and you start at the top surface it will stop cutting at the bottom (deepest part) of the mountain model. That leaves the rest of the board uncut. I drew the wheel and started from the center out and made the wedge equal on both sides of the horizontal center line.

I just wonder if this has something to do with your choice of "OUTSIDE" for the profile cut. The deflections look to be where a node would be located and if the circle wasn't closed completely the bit may transfer from one side to the other. Just a thought....joe
