Re: Dovetail drawers
Thanks to everyone for their responses. I think I was hoping that someone had figured out a gadget that uses the special cnc dovetail bits that do everything flat. The last suggestion with the ball nose bit is pretty nice, but it may be a little slow for the 30 drawers I will need to make.

Re: Dovetail drawers
Just hoping to offer a dovetail drawer option. for customers who ask/want. And I use undermount slides, so I need to have my bottoms dadoed .5" up from the bottom.

Re: Dovetail drawers
I have seen an example of the vectric gadget, and it seems to leave little pockets in the corners of the joint, which is not very desirable. is there a way to minimize this. Also is there an option for a dadoed bottom in said gadget?

Re: Dovetail drawers
I have seen advertised that there is a special cnc bit for doing "half blind" dovetails where everything is milled flat on the table. is this method applicable to any vectric gadgets?

Turns out I was importing it wrong, as stated above. I would still like to hear everyone's feed back on how to tool path this. Thanks

Re: 3d panel import from sketchup
Thanks to everyone I have attached a dimensioned picture. The scallops are 2.5" and Id like them to be around .25" deep. panel thickness will be around 13/16" to 7/8". I had the sketchup pros look at my model and clean it up before importing and it still just comes through as a rectangle.
