I made an enclosure out of plexiglass for a smaller machine I had. It took up a lot of room and really wasn’t that efficient. This works much better for me. Made out PVC, very light and easy to work with. Magnets hold the plate to the vac housing and the changeable length feather rings are held onto...

Make sure you have trammed your router or spindle especially with a larger diameter surfacing bit to avoid uneven surface with ridges

Could you use the same tool path with a different starting point and run it again? Maybe that would clean it up (?) ...... or make it worse

My 2 cents- I was using a Porter Cable compressor, the loudest machine in my shop, then took a trip to HF and picked up their Fortress “ultra quiet “. Thanks for the responses. I did get this back from one of the sellers but the 240 v rather than 110 v still has me baffled. Will let you all know when I hit the switch
