Not too sure why you’re having such difficulties.
It would not surprise me if it turned out to be my reliance on Intel graphics drivers on all those platforms. But each and every system would have random crashes until I removed the 3D Connexion driver (and mouse).

Re: Alternative to native 3DConnexion Support

I stopped using the 3D Connexion mouse about 2 years ago out of frustration due to frequent crashes and having to resinstall the HUGE driver every time I updated one of the applications where I used it. Has it gotten better behaved since then?

Re: Can't select ANY tools in Vcarve Pro 11

The Machine Configuration Management page doesn't have an option for a Shapeoko Pro (or anything Shapeoko related) so I created a new machine and added the Shapeoko post processor. I installed V11 yesterday and one of the things that greatly pleased me is that, during the installation, I was given ...

Re: upgrading from desktop cut 2d

Your machine 'speaks' GRBL so the correct post processor is probably Grbl_inch.pp or Grbl_mm.pp depending on your orientation... You may need to modify the post processor to change default file extension as the current default is "gcode". Copy the post processor to the 'My_PostP' folder and modify i...

In the meantime something like this might be of use: https://fontba.se/
Good find @adze_cnc! Do you use it? Is there anyone here who uses it and can comment on it?

I'm guessing your Mom isn't across the pond so I'm thinking you might be able to talk a few of the appreciative dudes on this here forum to Zoom in and sing Happy Birthday at her party. Maybe that will let you off the hook for some of those little replicas of your gas pumps...

Re: vcarve desktop pro 10.5 feed rate problem

Error message ( screen shot ) The screen shot, as Adrian points out, is a tool number you've selected for this operation. The line looks perfectly valid for Mach3, however, the rest of your statement includes a reference to Mach4 and it's not clear that the Mach3 post processor is valid for Mach 4....

In this case: wood moves, sometimes almost fast enough to see it happening.

Re: Too many fonts

You can control how many fonts appear at the top of your font list by changing: Edit->Options->General Settings->Recent Font List Size Default is 5. This controls how many of your most recently used fonts appear at the top of the font selection list. Make it long enough to include all the fonts you ...

What thickness acrylic?
What diameter bit?

I love that Quilted Maple! What finish(es) did you use?

Thanks for the tip on the Vladimir script. I had seen that before and found it interesting, but had forgotten about it.
